Texarkana, TX (January 24, 2017) – The Texarkana Twins announced that they have signed a trio of players from Paris Junior College to play in upcoming inaugural season.
Garrett Walker is a left-handed reliever who made 16 appearances for the Dragons and racked up 20 strikeouts in 24 innings. Walker is from Van, Texas.
The other two signings for the Twins are incoming freshman for Paris junior College.
Connor Anderson is from Rowlett, Texas and will play 3rd base this season for the Dragons and will also assume that role for Texarkana as well as spend time as the designated hitter. Coaches speak highly of his consistent hitting and his ability to use the whole field at the plate.
Chad Paris is an outfielder from Flower Mound, Texas. He has great speed in the field and is a solid hitter who has shown occasional power with his bat.
The Twins will open their inaugural season on May 26th at George Dobson Field as they play host to the Victoria Generals.
