Twins Add More Southland Conference Power with Two BearkatsTexarkana, USA (April 15, 2017) - The Texarkana Twins are excited to announce that they have signed Colin Cameron and Jaxxon Grisham today. Both players are currently sophomores at Sam Houston State University. Colin Cameron is a right-handed pitcher from The Woodlands, Texas. In his second year at Sam Houston, Cameron has appeared in five games and has not allowed a run this year. Cameron has struck out six and given up just one hit. Cameron appeared in 10 games his freshman year and gave up five runs in 13 innings. Cameron started one game and gave up one run in three innings in his lone start. Jaxxon Grisham has played in 27 games this year for Sam Houston, starting 12. Grisham has totaled 10 hits, 10 runs and six RBIs on the year. Grisham was a jack-of-all trades last season for the Bearkats as he started 22 games at three different positions (15 at DH, six at first base, one in left field). He batted .282 with five doubles, one home run and 14 RBIs in his freshman year. Grisham is from College Station, Texas and won a state title in baseball at College Station High School.
