After the rough start Foster then retired nine straight batters and had 5 strikeouts in the process. He pitched four scoreless innings for the Twins, but his defense was able to have his back. Randle had a nice diving stop to save a base hit and he ended up 2-2 for a leadoff triple in the third. Bobby Lada then brought in Randle putting the Twins up 2-0. In the third inning. Logan LeJeune of the Rougarous, walked to start the fifth inning and then was brought in two batters by catcher Brennan Lambert making the score 2-1. Unfortunately due to the weather the game had to be called in the middle of the fifth inning, but since the game made it to the fifth inning the game will go down as a Twins victory. The Twins next home game is tomorrow at George Dobson Field as they take on the Rougarous to finish this opening series.
