Texarkana, USA (April 29, 2017)- The Texarkana Twins round out their outfield today with the addition of Henderson State’s Joseph Sheppard and Chandler Robertson. 

 

Joseph Sheppard has started 8 games in his first season with the Henderson State Reddies. The transfer from Murray State has an impressive 22 catches and zero errors on the year. Sheppard was a four year varsity letterman for Kilgore High School earning All East Texas Outfielder, All District Pitcher, and Offensive MVP during his senior year. 

 

Chandler Robertson has had an admirable year for Murray State. The sophomore has appeared in 53 games boasting a .543 slugging percentage and 41 runs batted in. Robertson has also hustled his way around the bases with 17 stolen bases on the year.
