Texarkana, USA – January 24, 2019 – With the summer getting closer, the Twins are finalizing their 2019 roster. This week the Texarkana Twins are adding two juniors with valuable playing experience to the roster. Ryne Randle from Abilene Christian and Caden Rasholt from the University of New Orleans will look to represent the Twins in the infield this summer as they attempt to chase down their first TCL title.
Ryne Randle, a left-handed hitting second baseman, hit .367 with 4 homeruns, 43 RBI, 9 stolen bases, 8 doubles, and a .946 OPS for Grayson College in 2018. Ryne will be playing his 2019 collegiate season for Abilene Christian University. Randle is a versatile player that should see time in the outfield and infield for the Twins.
Caden Rosholt brings a lot of experience with him to the Twins. Rosholt began his collegiate career at UTRGV before transferring to Ranger Junior College. At Ranger, Caden hit .308 with 29 runs scored and 35 runs batted in while posting an .895 OPS and 6 stolen bases. Rosholt has transferred to the University of New Orleans where he will be playing his first season this spring. Rosholt is expected to play a key role this season in the infield for Twins.
Both Rosholt and Randle will have an opportunity to face each other on the field before they become teammates for the Twins. On Friday May 3rd, Randle and Abilene Christian will travel to New Orleans to face Rosholt and the Privateers in Southland Conference action.
