The Twins got their first road win of the season, beating the Cane Cutters 4-3. The Twins too the lead early thanks to a Landen Kimbro single into center field to put the twins up 1-0. The Twins would strike for 1 run in both the secod and third innings to take a 3-1 lead.
The Twins starting ptcher, Stanton Lohrengel pitched 6 innings of work allowing 2 runs on only 3 hits and struckout 6 batters to earn his first win of the season. The Twins also got solid pitching by Nick Anderson who pitched the 7th inning giving up no runs, no hits and struckout one hitter. George Eubanks came in and shut down the Cane Cutters in the final two innings, giving them a 4-3 victory wrapping up the first road series of the season.
The Twins have two days off before traveling to College Station for a 2 game sereies agaisnt the Brazos Valley Bombers at Nutrabolt Stadium. The next game will be Saturday, June 3rd with first pitch at 7:05.
